Future of Cosmetic Treatment Scholarship

The American Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery (AAAMS) has released its predictions about the expected trends in cosmetic treatments for 2021. Among the many forecasts these experts foresee are both a move toward preventative treatments, rather than “fixes,” and an emphasis on subtler alterations of existing physical attributes, rather than total alteration.As a member of the cosmetic and aesthetic medicine business world, Glow Aesthetic Center is keenly interested in predictions about the future of our industry. We are offering a $2,500 scholarship for a current college student or incoming college freshman who writes a compelling, well-researched essay on their vision of the cosmetic medicine industry’s future. A winning entry should answer the following questions:

  • How do you think the world of cosmetic treatments will look in the near future?
  • Do you foresee more widespread use of cosmetic treatments as safe techniques become more widely available?
  • What kinds of treatments will trend up, and what kinds of treatments will trend down?
  • What do you think the social outlook on cosmetic treatments will be in the future? Will people be accepting of cosmetic enhancement, or will there be a stigma?
  • How do you feel about personally receiving cosmetic treatments?

The Glow Aesthetic Center Future of Cosmetic Treatment Scholarship

As incoming members of the future workforce, college students should be thinking about societal trends to gauge how the market will look in the near future. Glow Aesthetic Center is announcing the 2021 Future of Cosmetic Treatment Scholarship, worth $2,500. Applicants must:

  • Be a current college student or entering college as a freshman, and
  • Show proof of good academic standing.

Applicants must research the cosmetic treatment industry and write a 500-1,000 word essay on how they imagine the future will look for aesthetic medicine. We want to know, based on the available data and evidence, what you think are to be the most likely trends in:

  • The prevalence of cosmetic treatments
  • The types of cosmetic treatments that will be more widely used, and 
  • The societal outlook on the practice 

Submit your entry, along with the required qualifying information, via the application form on our website.

Members of Glow Aesthetic Center will form a scholarship submission committee to evaluate all entrants. Once we select a winner, that winner will be notified and announced publicly. They will also be featured right here on this website.

To be considered for the Glow Aesthetic Center Future of Cosmetic Treatment Scholarship, entries must be submitted on or before July 15, 2021.

    All consultations are completely free here at Glow Aesthetic Center! When a patient visits Glow Aesthetic Center for a consultation, they get to meet with one of our experienced and trained board-certified practitioners where they will go over your goals and concerns with the treatment and make a customized treatment plan just for you!

    Glow Aesthetic Center has a 24 hour late cancellation for patients who book an appointment to visit our office. Patients who do not show up to their appointment, or cancel on the same day as the appointment, will result in a $75 charge on their credit cards that we hold on file during booking.
