PRP Injections Treatment In Encino, CA

Platelet-Rich-Plasma (PRP) injections is a revolutionary treatment increasingly being used to help treat wounds and/or sports related injuries. Plasma is found in your blood, which is made up of protein and water. Both white and red blood cells move through your blood through your plasma. These cells play an important role in healing. By collecting your blood, we are able to extract the Platelet-Rich Plasma from your blood using a centrifuge,  and take that PRP and inject it in the area of your body that needs treatment. Stop taking any type of medication that act as blood thinners such as Ibuprofen or Aspirin. This may also include vitamins or supplements such as Omega-3.

It is suggested to hydrate and eat before the procedure, as drawing blood may cause you become lightheaded.

Please let the practioner know if you have an Anemia, Cancer, an Infection, or Abnormal Platelet Count or Function.
