How to Get Ready for Your ThermiVa Session

Proper preparation is important to ensure the best results from your treatment. Make sure that you do all of the following before coming in for your first session.

• Drink plenty of water. Hydration can help your body remain relaxed and improve cellular health. ThermiVa treatments only last about 45 minutes tops, but you don’t want to get thirsty during the middle of it.
• Shave and remove piercings. If you have vulvar jewelry or other piercings in the area, please remove them prior to your appointment. Also, the area needs to be cleanly shaven. If you wax or undergo laser treatment, do so at least one week before your session.
• Remove foreign substances. We need to attach electrodes to the area, so it needs to be clean and dry. That means no lotions, moisturizers, makeup, or any other foreign substance.

Also, please inform our team about any medical concerns that apply to you. This can include pregnancy, the presence of an IUD, an electronic implant like a pacemaker, the development of a urinary tract infection, or other types of localized infections.
