Platelet-Rich-Plasma (PRP) injections is a revolutionary treatment increasingly being used to help treat wounds and/or sports related injuries. Plasma is found in your blood, which is made up of protein and water. Both white and red blood cells move through your blood through your plasma. These cells play an important role in healing. By collecting your blood, we are able to extract the Platelet-Rich Plasma from your blood using a centrifuge, and take that PRP and inject it in the area of your body that needs treatment. PRP is also used for cosmetic treatments here at Glow Aesthetic Center, such as our Microneedling + PRP treatment, as well as our PRP hair growth treatment.
