Laser Hair Removal
Glow Aesthetic Center proudly uses the Quanta 4V light system, the most advanced high-tech combination Alexandrite and Nd:YAG laser that the FDA has approved. The Quanta 4v’s Alexandrite laser emits a 755 nanometer (nm) wavelength beam that focuses on the melanin in your hair follicle, keeping your skin safe…

Laser Nail Fungus Removal
The treatment utilizes our Quanta 4v Nd:YAG laser at the infected nail. Heat penetrates the nail, killing the nail fungus and triggering your body’s collagen production to naturally revitalize your nails, making them healthy again. Our laser nail fungus treatment provides results that last, unlike over-the-counter creams, and without the side effects of oral medications…
Laser treatments have become one of the most popular cosmetic procedures performed. Introducing to you with the newest technology, we now provide treatments that may be used successfully on individuals of all skin and hair types.
Selective Photothermolysis
Absorption
The green 532 nm and the infrared 1064 nm lights are absorbed by the hemoglobin which is the targeted chromophore when treating dermal blood vessels.
532 and 1064 nm are optimal wavelengths for treating superficial micro vessels.
755 nm for hair removal up to Skin Type IV, 1064 nm also for darker skin
532 nm due to melanin absorption can be used also for the treatment of benign lentigo
Optional 1320 nm, due to optimal water absorption is ideal for acne scars treatment
Selective Photothermolysis
Penetration
Longer wavelengths preferable for deeper or larger vessels, because of their greater penetration into tissue and because the relative low melanin absorption may allow more safe heating of the full thickness of the vessel with less risks of epidermal hypopigmentation.
For small vessels – such as those occurring commonly on the face lasers emitting wavelengths at 532 nm are highly suitable.
For leg veins treatments the 1064 nm wavelength of Light series is preferable.
Vascular Treatments
Two gold standard wavelengths for vascular treatments:
532 nm (green laser) is ideal for fine blood vessels typically located on the face. It is a PURPURA FREE laser.
1064 nm (IR – not visible) is effective on leg vascular lesions. More suitable than 532 when a higher penetration and a lower competitive melanin absorption is needed.
The Alexandrite (755 nm) laser is indicated for coagulation and hemostatis of vascular lesions and the removal and permanent reduction of unwanted hair in the Fitzpatrick skin types I-VI, including suntanned skin types. Also indicated for pigmented lesions and wrinkles.
The Nd:YAG 1064 nm short pulse and long pulse laser is intended for coagulation and hemostasis of benign vascular lesions such as, but not limited to, port wine stains, hemangiomas, warts, telangiectasia, rosacea, venus lake, leg and spider veins and poikiloderma of Civattte and treatment of benign cutaneous lesions such as warts, scars, striae and psoriasis. In addition, the laser is intended for the treatment of benign pigmented lesions such as, but not limited to, lentigos (age spots), solar lentigos (sun spots), cafe au lait macules, seborrheic keratoses, nevi, chloasma, verrucae, skin tags, keratoses, tattoos (significant reduction in the intensity of blue and/ or black tattoos), and plaques. The laser is also indicated for pigmented lesions to reduce lesion size, for patients with lesions that would potentially benefit from aggressive treatment, and for patients with lesions that have not responded to other laser treatments. The laser is also indicated for the treatment of facial wrinkles and wrinkles such as, but not limited to, periocular and periorbital wrinkles. It is indicated for the removal of unwanted hair, for the stable long-term, or permanent hair reduction through selective targeting of melanin in hair follicles, and for the treatment of pseudofolliculitis barbae (PFB). It is indicated for the reduction of red pigmentation in hypertrophic and keloid scars where vascularity is an integral part of the scar. It is indicated for use on all skin types (Fitzpatrick I-VI) including tanned skin and the removal and permanent reduction of unwanted hair in the Fitzpatrick I-VI, including suntanned skin types.
The Nd:YAG 532 nm laser is intended for the coagulation and hemostasis of vascular lesions, photocoagulation and hemostasis of vascular and cutaneous lesions in dermatology including but not limited to, the following general categories: vascular lesions : benign pigmented lesions (nevi, lentigines, chloasma, cafe au- lait, tattoos (red and green ink), verrucae, skin tags, keratoses, plaques, cutaneous lesion treatment (hemostasis, color lightening, blanching, flattening, reduction of lesion size.
Integrated Skin Cooler: The intended use of the integrated cooling system in the handpiece is to provide cooling of the skin prior to the laser treatment, for the reduction of pain during laser treatment, to allow for the use of higher fluencies for the laser treatments such as as hair removal and vascular lesion, and to reduce the potential side effects of laser treatments. Any other different use is considered incorrect.
