How ThermiVa Works

Preparing for Your ThermiVa Session
When you initially come in for a consultation with the team at Glow Aesthetic Center, we will create a treatment plan specific to your needs. However, there are some general steps that we always recommend you take before your first session with ThermiVa.
Inform Us of Any Medical Conditions
Make sure you let us know about medical conditions or implants that may affect your treatment. This includes:
- Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
- Other types of infections in the area
- Pacemakers or other electrical or metal implants
- Intrauterine devices (IUDs)
- Pregnancy
Keep the Treatment Area Clean
In order to ensure the best results, you will need to keep the area clean and neatly shaven. Also, please remove any piercings or jewelry prior to your session. Remove any lotions, moisturizers, or makeup, as these topical applications can make it difficult to attach the electrodes.
If you get laser hair removal or waxing services, schedule your ThermiVa session at least one week after such an appointment. This will help prevent or reduce possible irritation.
When You Can Expect Results
Everyone’s body is different, and timelines can be just as unique and unpredictable. Some women see results from ThermiVa immediately after an initial session. For others, it may take up to four weeks to see the full results of the treatment.
Your overall plan may also differ from another person’s. We typically suggest a regimen of three sessions spread out at least four weeks apart. However, we’ll create a plan to deliver ThermiVa at your comfort level when you arrive for your initial consultation.
How Long You Can Expect Your Results to Last
